For Same As Cash options, interest begins to accrue on date contract is signed. You must make your regularly scheduled payments, including interest. Same As Cash options require additional payment during the Same As Cash period. If the total amount of principal and interest you pay during the Same As Cash period equals the Total Balance Due to Seller, as defined in the contract, then all interest paid will be applied to the principal amount of the loan. If payments made do not equal the Total Balance Due within the Same As Cash period, payments will be applied first to accrued interest with any remainder applied to the principal balance.
